Warren- Joyce Coons, 77, of Warren, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 12, 2003 at the Lena Nursing Center in Lena.
Born in Wisconsin, her parents were Frank and Emma (Nickel) Haeft.
She is survived by two daughters, Dena Gale (Pierce) Shannon of St. Charles and Candice (Robert) Becke of Eleroy; three grandchildren, Jaycen (Jennifer) Burmeister, Breanna Becke, and Blake Becke; one great grandchild, Payton Burmeister.
She served many years on the Board of Directors of both Easter Seals and Tuberculosis and served with many other charitable organizations.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, Raymond Disch, Charles Brown, and Rodger Coons; infant daughter, Cynthia Hope Brown; three sisters, Berneice Grebner, Blanche Schemehorn and Mary Siedschlag.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
There will be no services per Joyce's wishes.
