Joyce C. Niedermeier, age 81, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Fairhaven Health Care Center in Rockford. Daughter of the late Charles and Violet (Henze) Brick, she was born March 6, 1939 in Davis. She married her sweetheart, James L. Niedermeier, April 9, 1960.

Joyce was employed for many years with Northwest Bank and looked forward to visiting with her customers. She enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was maintaining the yard, gardening, bird watching, or the seasonal hunt for morels. Most of all, she loved baking for and spending time with Jim and their family. We will miss everything she did to let each of know how much we were loved.

Joyce is survived by her husband Jim; children Teri (Randy) Nelson of Genoa, Todd (Julie) Niedermeier of Batavia, and Toby Niedermeier of Rockford; 7 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren; brother Dalon (Linda) Brick, sisters Linda Johnson, Sandra (Jim) Paul, and Doris Clark; and special friends Bob and Joanne Baker, Mark and Debbie Schlicher, and Larry and Bernice Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Tamara; brothers Bud, Richard, and Lavere Brick, and sister Phyllis Beling; brother-in-law Harry Niedermeier, and sister-in-law Fern Niedermeier.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 29 ^th beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Dakota, with a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow and take place at Davis Cemetery in Davis.
