Judith A. Bryan

Judith A. Bryan, 85 of Freeport passed away peacefully with family at her side.

She was born August 22, 1941 in Freeport to Warren and Maude (Gardner) Woker. Judy’s schooling took place in Pearl City from the first through the 12th grade. After school she worked at Economy Fire and Casualty for 37 years. She married Vern Bryan in November of 1988. Judy was an active member of Cedarville Baptist Church for many years, heading up the kitchen volunteers for luncheons and other occasions.

Her survivors are her son, Mark Coles (Ann Smith) of Machesney Park, Illinois. As well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Vern and her sister, Carol Wybourn.

A special thank you to her close friends and family who were there for her in her final days.

There will be a visitation held on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 10:30 at the Cedarville Baptist Church followed by a service at 11:30. Her final resting place will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens of Freeport.
