Judith A. Church, 82, of Davis, IL., passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 11, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Rockford, IL.  She was born on November 10, 1938 in Rockford, IL; she was the daughter of Mary and Bert Moth. She worked at Warner Lambert where she met the lover of her life.  She married Rueben Church on January 24, 1975.  In 1983, when Rueben started his Heating & Air conditioning business, she came home to do the secretary and bookkeeping aspects of the business and take care of their home.

Judith found great joy in taking care of her home, cooking, and baking for her family.  But her greatest joy was caring for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  She was always willing to help them however they needed and in whatever way she could.  Of course, always spoiling them as much as she could as well.

She is survived by her children, Jeff (Sheila) Knight of Cherry Valley, Bill (Duree Gyllenhaal) Knight of Glenview, and Mary (Rod) Hagemann of Davis; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Rueben, her parents, and two brothers.  Funeral service will be on Monday, August 16, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., with a visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.  Please leave a message in Judith's guest book at www.walkermortuary.com.
