Lake Summerset
Judith Evelyn Cole, 74, died July 6, 2015, at her home in Lake Summerset.
Born July 26, 1940 in Palatine she was the daughter of Joe and Marjorie (Butler) Schmidt. She married Robert R. Cole September 6, 1958.
Judy was an accountant working for different temp agencies until her retirement.
Surviving is her husband, Bob of Lake Summerset; her children, Karen Sigmon of Belton, South Carolina, Patty (Bill) Bennett of Arlington Heights, Bobby Cole of Lake Summerset, Matt Cole of Wonder Lake, and Lynn (Phil) Braband of Volo; 4 sisters, Patty Lonergan of Rolling Meadows, Sally (Ron) Weber of Elgin, Susan (Don) Meyer of Carol Stream, and Debbie Schmidt of Virginia; her brother, Joe (Mercy) Schmidt of Plainfield; 5 grandchildren, Bill and Daniel Bennett, Adrian and Sam Sigmon, and Fay Braband.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter, Laura Abbott.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Faith Community Church, 212 West McKimmy, Davis, Illinois, 61019
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the Leonard Ferguson Cancer Center.
