Judith Ann Dirksen, 74, of Freeport, died Saturday, February 13, 2016, at her home.
Born February 21, 1941 in Freeport she was the daughter of Merle and Nellie (Sager) Snyder She married Larry G. Dirksen September 15, 1962 and he died April 9, 2002.
Judith worked at Arlans for years.
An avid bowler she was a very pleasant and kind hearted person. She was the first to help another person out. Judith enjoyed time with her nieces.
She was a member of Ladies of the Moose.
Surviving is her sister, Gloria (Jerry) Schlamp; her niece, Debbie (Marvin Hans) Moore; 2 great nieces, Karisa and Kayla Hans; Mike Sager, who she considered a son; her aunt, Alice Midthun; her sister-in-law, Shirley Dirksen; her nephew Jim Dirksen all of Freeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Walker Mortuary. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 4:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 at Walker Mortuary.
