Judy E. Lutzenkirchen, 71 of Davis died Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at her home. Born January 6, 1941 in Elmhurst she was the daughter of John and Lil (Karlson) Korniek. On May 7, 1960 she and William Lutzenkirchen were united in marriage, in Wheaton. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Durand. For many years she taught CCD, lectored, and was a Eucharistic Minister in both Durand and Wheaton. She was active in arranging class reunions for Wheaton Community High School. She is survived by her husband of Davis, four children Maureen (Thomas) Cain of Pecatonica, Michael (Mary) Lutzenkirchen of Marietta, GA, Ellyn Lutzenkirchen of Freeport, Andrew (Beckie) Lutzenkirchen of Aurora; 9 grandchildren Meggan (Ryan), Matthew, Amy, Ann, Philip, Abby, Adam, Gabriella, Allison; Two great grandchildren Olivia and Lillian; two sisters Joanne (Richard) Lindquist of Mt. Morris, Janice Korinek of Verona, WI; 2 brothers-in-law Robert (Patricia) Lutzenkirchen of Wauconda, Daniel (Helen) Lutzenkirchen of Winfield. Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother John.
