June I. Miller, 86, of Freeport, died Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at Presence St. Joseph Nursing Center.
Born June 24, 1929 in Freeport she was the daughter of Edward and Harriet (Spielman) Simler. She married Orville Miller Sr. April 24, 1948 and he died June 24, 2004.
Surviving are her children, Orville (Linda) Miller Jr. and David E. Miller both of Freeport, Pamela (Jerry) Mills of Kirksville, Missouri; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; her brother, Ronald (Lynette) Simler of Phoenix, Arizona her sister, Virginia Jonas of Rockford; her sister-in-laws, Sharon Simler of Freeport and Linda Simler of Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 1 sister, and 5 brothers.
Funeral services and burial will be 3 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016 in the Chapel of Peace in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Saturday 2 p.m. until time of service in the Chapel of Peace.
A memorial has been established.
