Obituary
Justin Bradley Sager , age 31, passed away peacefully on June 9 th , 2018, at home, in care of his OSF team, his cousin Maranda Ellis, and caregiver (and father) Bradley Sager. He was born on December 21 st , 1986, in Monroe, Wisconsin to Bradley and Sonya (Boston) Sager. Justin was a 2005 Freeport High School graduate and active member of the Freeport Pretzel football team. He worked as a union heavy equipment operator for the local 150 and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
After developing a true love for powerlifting, he then participated in charity powerlifting competitions for Hope Kids Inc. Justin had such a positive impact on everyone around him and had the ability to make anyone laugh with his quick wit and great sense of humor.
He is survived by his parents, Bradley and Sonya (Boston) Sager; sister, Michaela Sager; Grandmother, Jane Brecklin; Grandmother, Darlene Lund; Grandfather, Jim (Linda) Boston; aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as his companion pets Sophie, Thor, Layla, and Sam, and an abundance of very special friends. He is proceeded in death by his cousin Tyler Witmer and Grandfathers David Lund Sr. and James Sager.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Justin has touched are invited to WALKER MORTUARY, 321 W. Main St., Freeport, IL on Friday, June 15 th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. for visitation services. A Memorial Service will also be held at WALKER MORTUARY on Saturday, June 16 th at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation before the service beginning at 10:00 a.m., followed by a luncheon at The Moose Lodge.
