Freeport – Karen E. Beidler, 82, of Freeport passed away peacefully at Citadel St. Joseph's Village of Freeport on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.  She was born February 22, 1943 in Monroe, WI to the late Maynard and Evelyn (Stark) Losey.  She married Emmanual "Al" Beidler on July 27, 1965 in Afolkey, Il.  He passed away on November 21, 2011.

Karen was a registered nurse for many years at FHN Memorial Hospital.  She belonged to the Cedarville Baptist Church and was very active there as a Sunday School teacher and helping with the kitchen crew.  She enjoyed many things in life including, traveling, gardening, gospel music, country music, reading, baking, sitting in the sun enjoying nature and spending time with family, especially during the holiday season.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Melinda Council) Beidler of Fredericksburg, VA; William Beidler of Orangeville and Kim (Ken) Nesemeier of Freeport.  Her sisters, Diane Cooper of Orangeville; Vicki Zimmerman of Freeport and Nancy (Art Sr.) Asche of Lena.

Her legacy also includes her 8 grandchildren, Tanner Steffan of Niceville, FL; Geoff (fiancé Jasmine) Steffan of Pearl City; Cole Nesemeier of Freeport; Madalyn Steffan of Freeport; Josh Beidler of Richmond, VA; Hailey Beidler of Norfolk, VA; Audrey Pierce of Fredericksburg, VA; and Whitley Beidler of Fredericksburg, VA; 1 great grandson, Hayden Nesemeier and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her sisters, Judy Banks and Sandy Adams.

There will be a visitation held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 beginning at 10am and a service to immediately follow at 11am all at Cedarville Baptist Church.  Her final resting place will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens of Freeport next to her husband.
