Obituary
Karen J. Butler, 70, of Freeport, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013, at her home.
Karen's family wants to thank FHN Hospice for providing loving care and assistance during her illness fighting A.L.S.
Born November 2, 1942 in Savanna she was the daughter of Lloyd and Virginia (Mowry) Weber. She was a graduate of Mount Carroll High School.
Karen married Lee O. Butler November 25, 1962 in Malta.
Surviving are her husband, Lee of Freeport; her mother, Virginia Weber of Mt. Carroll; her siblings, Tom (Judy) Weber of Venice, Florida, Dave Weber of Savanna, Teresa (Don) Nowviock of Stockton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Paul and Florence Butler of Malta; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; father-in-law & mother in-law, Earl and Virginia Butler; sister-in-law, Janice Weber; infant sister, Linda; maternal and fraternal grandparents; aunts and uncles.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Per her request there will be no funeral services.
