Karen Grace Heumiller born December 3 ^rd 1941 daughter to the late Fay and Ervin Peters and step father Russell Smith passed away from liver cancer on June 15 ^th at 11:35 AM at Freeport Memorial hospital.

Karen was a very spunky woman who loved the outdoors. She was into gardening and lots of outside decorations. She especially liked her wind chimes. If she was not outside she could be caught watching her SIFI movies and doing crossword puzzles. She was an amazing woman and will be missed by so many.

Karen is survived by her sister Mylene (Jim) Ahlert, daughter Karlene (Randy) Mears, grandchildren, Rob Wyss, Kevin Wyss, Shaelynn Johnson and Naomi  Mears, also 3 nephews and 1 niece, and 6 Great Grandchildren; along with many other family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her son Rob (Rotten) Wyss Sr. and her granddaughter Julie Teed.

She will be cremated at Walker Mortuary, LTD in Freeport IL. Then she will be buried in Shopiere, WI with her father. A celebration of life will be held for her on Sunday July 8 ^th from 1 to 4 at the Townclub located at 1900 St Lawrence Ave Beloit, WI.
