Kathryn M. Kleparski, age 91 of Rock City, IL, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017 at Medina Nursing Center in Durand, IL. She was born October 13, 1925 in Fennimore, WI; the daughter of the late Frank and Phoebe (Cogan) Hoffman. She was a 1943 graduate of Fennimore High School. Kathryn married Edward Kleparski on June 7, 1949; he passed January 22, 2013.

She had worked several years at Amerock and enjoyed farming alongside her husband for many years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Irish Grove of Davis, IL. She was also a member of the Bunco Club. She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, and bird watching. She had a great love of family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Donald Kleparski of Loves Park, IL, Janet (Dan) Gilbertson of Roscoe, IL, Bradley (Julie) kleparski of Machesney Park, IL, and Patricia (Steve) Green of South Beloit, IL; 4 grandsons; 4 granddaughters; 3 great grandsons; 2 great granddaughters; and sisters, Helen Kleparski of Loves Park and Joanne (George) Grinker of Brookfield, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; and 3 brothers.

Kathryn's family would like to thank Medina Nursing Center for all the compassion and care during her stay.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 9th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, 115 S. West St., Dakota, IL. The Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am Wednesday, May 10th at St. Patrick's Catholic Church Irish Grove in Davis, IL with Father Matthew Bergschneider presiding. A luncheon will follow. Burial will be at the St. Patrick's Church Cemetery, Irish Grove. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
