Keith Pearce Hanson, 68, passed away on May 19th, 2024. He was born on May 27th, 1955 in Loves Park, Illinois, to James and Mary Hanson. He joined the Navy and left for training before finishing high school. Keith and Barb were married on September 3rd, 1993. He then went back to school to finish his GED. Keith worked as a punch press operator for 20+ years.

One of Keith's greatest days was the day his son David was born. He even cheered when they found out he was a boy!

Keith enjoyed playing baseball, golf, darts, pool, doing his crossword puzzles, leading his son's Boy Scout Troop, and anything with his family.

He is survived by his wife Barb Hanson, his son David (Alison) Hanson, his dog Duncan, his cat Hattie, brothers James (Judy) Hanson and Richard Hanson, sisters Linda Van Vleck and Vicky (Dan) Lentz, brother-in-laws Ben Miller, Jeff (Bonnie) Gray, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces, and nephews.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents James and Mary, and sisters Wanda (Vic) Rogers, Patsy (Ray) Wampler, Becky (Bill) Manley, and Shawn Miller.

Service will be Friday, May 24th, 2024, at 1pm at the Chapel Hill Cemetery Chapel.  Condolences can be left for the family at www.walkermortuary.com
