Baileyville – Keith R. Sodergren of Baileyville, IL passed away peacefully at home on December 8, 2021.  He was born on September 29, 1942 to the late Bert and Ethel (Carter) Sodergren.  He married his best friend Sharon (Bartholomew) Sodergren on June 8, 1963. Together they raised a son and two daughters and enjoyed 58 wonderful years together.  He is survived by his wife Sharon, his son Scott (Melissa) Sodergren, his daughters Julie (Craig) Johnson, and Jill (Terry) Vails, 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and his sister Barbara (Gary) Shaver.  He was predeceased in death by his parents, his sister Donna and his grandson, Zachary Johnson.

The family would like to thank Dr. Korkmaz, the OSF Cancer Center Staff, Dr. Taylor, Dr. Schock and staff as well as the Serenity Hospice Home for the wonderful care given to Keith during his illness.  A celebration of Keith's life will be held at a later date.
