Kelly J. Blackiston, 58, of Freeport, died Sunday, September 27, 2015 at her home.
Born April 8, 1957 in Freeport she was the daughter of Jack and Dolores (MacKenzie) Blackiston.
Kelly worked 37 years for FHN Memorial Hospital.
Surviving are her children, Sarah (Clif) Gee and Noah Bloyer both of Freeport; her brother, Kim (Nancee) Blackiston of Ocean Side, California; her grandchildren, Eli Gee and Ellie Gee both of Freeport, and Taylor Waugh-Bloyer; her sister-in-law, Linda Moore of De Moines, Iowa; her niece, Dawn Logo of San Diego, California; and her nephew, Christopher Blackiston.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
There will be a gathering for family and friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2015 at Walker Mortuary.
There will be no funeral service.
A memorial has been established in her name.
