It is with great sadness that the family of Kenneth R. Boland Sr. announces his passing after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 85 on July 26, 2022.  He peacefully passed in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his wife of 39 years.

He will be profoundly missed and remembered by his wife (Dolly) and his children, Ken Jr., Kurt, Tom, Tony, Lonnie, Tammy and Scott as well as many grandchildren or great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe, his mother, Fern, brothers Leo, Joe, Bill, John, Robert, Danny, Brian and infant Charles. He was also preceded by his sisters, Pat, Ann and Mary.

Ken was a roofer for many years and owned Boland Roofing.  He was an extremely hard worker and always had time to help anyone who was in need or a needed a hand in helping someone move or shovel snow for his elderly neighbors.

He enjoyed his fur babies, Cody, Johnny, Nellie and Sadie.  You could usually find him watching the Chicago Bears play or watching a good Western on TV.

The family wishes to send a special Thank You to FHN Hospice and their wonderful staff and nurses for their care and compassion.  At Ken's request, no services will be held.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  Condolences can be left for the family at www.walkermortuary.com
