Rockford-Kenneth M. Dilly, 98, of Rockford, formerly of Freeport, died Sunday October 5, 2003 at Alpine Fireside Health Center in Rockford.
Born January 26, 1905 in Ridott he was the son of Adam and Emma (Long) Dilly. He married Grace B. Siemens August 18, 1936 and she died August 29, 2002.
He attended Browns Business College. He worked at Burgess Battery for over 25 years.
He was a member of Zion Church.
Surviving is one daughter, Carol (Ron) Alberts of Machesney Park; two grandsons, Randy (Anita) Alberts of Roscoe and Darren Alberts of Warsaw, Indiana; two great grandchildren, Brittany and Nicholas Alberts of Roscoe;
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Funeral service will be Wednesday 1:30 p.m. at Walker Mortuary with Reverend John T. Dale of Zion Church officiating. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery & Mausoleum.
Friends may call Wednesday 12 noon until time of service at Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established for Zion Church.
