Kenneth L. Fosler, age 71 of Freeport, IL, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport. He was born September 21, 1951; the son of the late Kenneth M. and Shirley (Herold) Fosler. He graduated from Freeport High School and went on to attend Highland Community College

Kenneth served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Saigon. He worked for Anderson Welding & Machinery. He also owned his own machine shop on the side. He enjoyed golfing and building model ships. Kenneth loved learning about history and frequently watched the History Channel. He was an avid Bengals, Cubs, and Blackhawks fan. He also loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his siblings, James (Judy) Fosler of Freeport, Don (Kayla) Fosler of Plymouth, IN, and Deb (David) Kohlbauer of Freeport; several nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tom.

A private burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport. A memorial fund has been established for the Freeport Chapter VietNow.Condolences may be shared at www.walkermortuary.com.
