Obituary
Freeport-Kenneth R. LaMoe, 84, of Freeport, died Sunday, January 2, 2005, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born August 17, 1920 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin he was the son of Omar and Mabel (Oien) LaMoe. He married Marion Holman May 25, 1948 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
He was a World War II and Korean Conflict veteran.
Kenneth worked for General Casualty Insurance Company for 33 years.
His memberships included First Lutheran Church , Golden K. Kiwanis, and Freeport Elk's Lodge.
Surviving is his wife, Marion of Freeport; 1 son, Steven (Vickie) LaMoe of Durham, California; grandchildren, Christopher LaMoe of Sacramento, California and Jessica LaMoe of Durham, California; one sister, Eileen Scanlon of St. Paul, Minnesota.
His parents and 1 brother, preceded him in death
Funeral service will be Wednesday 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Wednesday 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.
A memorial has been established for First Lutheran Church.
