Kimberly Kaye Rada, age 49 of Freeport, IL, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. She was born on August 17, 1975; the daughter of Michael and Diane (Griffin) Martin. Kim was a 1993 graduate of Mt. Carroll High School and went on to receive a bachelor's degree in computer programing.

Kim married Gregory Rada, Jr. on October 31, 2008. She worked at Honeywell, Newell and CVS all of Freeport. Together Kim and Greg participated in the Rally North America car rally and spent a lot of their time raising funds for various charities. They also enjoyed traveling together across the United States and Canada.

Kim enjoyed reading, shopping, sewing/cross stitch, and working on diamond art kits. She also loved animals, volunteering at shelters and taking care of her beagles, Quin & Alice. She had a bubbly personality and took pride in her appearance. Kim was also a very outgoing person who could talk to anyone.

She is survived by her husband, Greg Rada of Freeport; step-daughter, Elizabeth (Adam) Peterson of Polo, IL; granddaughter, Amelia; step-grandson, Jackson; brother, Chris (Kelli) Martin of North Carolina; mother-in-law, Joan Rada; brothers-in-law, Nate Rada and Mike Rada;  nephew, Mathias Rada; and her fur-baby, Quin. She was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law, Gregory Rada, Sr.
