Larry R. Ditsworth, 62, of Cedarville, died Friday, November 22, 2013, at his home.
Born October 28, 1951 in Stephenson County he was the son of Clarence and Doris (Brinkmeier) Ditsworth. He married Deb Lawson in 1973 and then married Laurie Mergen October 2, 1976 in Rockton.
Larry was a US Army veteran.
He was retired from Titan Tire after serving as tire builder for 36 years.
Surviving are his wife, Laurie of Cedarville; his mother, Doris Ditsworth of Freeport; his daughter, Melissa Ditsworth of Cedarville; his sons, Casey (Tami) Ditsworth of Pearl City and Doug (Samantha) Ditsworth of Los Alamos, New Mexico; his sisters, Jan (Al) McAuliffe and Kathy (Butch) Neuschwander both of Freeport; Jean (John) Weaver of Red Oak; his brother, Conley (Julie) Ditsworth of Arizona; sister-in-laws, Denise Mergen and Jennifer Keep both of Freeport Julie (Mike) Drake of Washington; grandchildren, Dominik Rossi, Gracie Ditsworth, Reese Alan Ditsworth, Cade Ditsworth, and A.J. Ditsworth; several aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence "Butch" Ditsworth.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Walker Mortuary. Visitation will be Wednesday 10 a.m. until time of service at Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established.
