Ridott- Larry V. Lindstrom, 63, of Ridott, died Tuesday, August 24, 2004, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born February 12, 1941 in Clinton, Iowa, he was the son of Vernon and Thelma (Kingery) Lindstrom. He married Sandra Kuntzelman April 7, 1968.
He was a tire builder for Kelly Springfield for 21 years.
He was a member of Church of the Brethren serving as past board member, Deacon, and Sunday School Teacher. He was also a member of the U.A.W. A Chicago Bear's fan, he was an avid racecar fan who loved to watch westerns.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra of Ridott; mother, Thelma Kaufman of Rockford; stepmother, Betty Lindstrom of Lanark; daughter, Christy A. (Michael) Meador of Mt. Carroll; son, Larry Robert A. (Jennifer) Lindstrom of St. Joseph; sister, Linda (Robert) Quincy of Rockford; brother, Paul (Theresa) Lindstrom of Leaf River; 3 grandchildren, Tanner Meador, Liesl Meador, and Brock Lindstrom, whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father; brother; and stepfather.
Funeral service will be Saturday 10:30 a.m. at Walker Mortuary. Friends may call Friday 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
A memorial has been established for German Valley Fire Department.
