Laura Lee Spencer, age 55 of Freeport, IL, passed away at home on May 17, 2018. She was born August 23, 1962; the daughter of David W. and Mary C. (Fritzenmeier) Spencer. Laura attended Freeport Schools and trained to be a CNA. She married John Guzzardo and they had two children, Nicole and Brandon Guzzardo. They divorced and several years later, she married Robert Myers. Their marriage also ended in a divorce.

For the past nine years, Laura lovingly cared for her older sister, Kathi who had a mysterious illness that kept her bed-bound. Laura died May 17 ^th , and Kathi died May 31 ^st .

Laura is survived by her daughter, Nicole (Charles) Shocklee; grandson, Jace Shocklee; son, Brandon Guzzardo; parents; David and Mary of Freeport; brother, James Spencer; step-brother, Scott (Dede) Arnold; their children Emma, Kayla and Zachary Arnold; aunt, Janet Piefer; uncle, Ken Spencer; her niece, Talia Spencer; and nephews, Aaron (Megan) Walz and Benjamin Walz. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Deborah Walz and Kathi Spencer.
