Freeport-Leland E. "Butch" Yoder, 67, of Freeport, died Monday, November 6, 2006, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born August 15, 1939 in Freeport he was the son of Paul and Gladys (Wise) Yoder.
He worked for Montgomery Ward for 17 years and then the City of Freeport.
Surviving are two sisters, Marjorie (James) Meinders and Tootie Bender; nieces, Brenda (Steve) Snyder and Tina (Steve) Maize; nephew, Gary (Belinda) Bender all of Freeport; several great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two infant sisters.
Funeral service will be Thursday 3 p.m. at Walker Mortuary with Reverend Don Jamerson of First Free Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the City Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday 12 noon until time of service at Walker Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name.
