Rock City
Leslie E. Prince, 83, of Rock City, died Friday, September 18, 2015, at Medina Nursing Center.
Born on a farm outside of Corsicana, Texas on April 1, 1932 he was the son of Earl and Margaret (Grubbs) Prince. He married Donna L. Schneeberger Pfile February 1, 1985.
Leslie worked for Heine Plastic and then Honeywell retiring in 1994.
Surviving are his wife, Donna of Rock City; his children, Leslie (Mark) Mantua of Freeport and Michael (Heather Spring) Pfile of Naperville; his grandchildren, Tony Mantua of Chicago, Makayla and Grayson Pfile of Naperville.; his sisters in Texas, Betty Martin, Diane Arnett, Rita McDaniel, Jane (Michael) Nasrallah, and Patricia Prince; his mother-in-law, Gertrude Schneeberger; sister-in-law, Marlene (Al) Crase; his brother-in-laws, Dick (Helen) Schneeberger and Steve (Sylvia) Schneeberger; special family, Patrick and Mimi Mason of Texas.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his two brothers, Wayne Prince and Ethan Prince.
Les always enjoyed fishing, golfing, and working with stained glass. He loved loved loved Country Music and Country Dancing as he was famous for his Texas Two Step.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Dakota. Burial will be in the Davis Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2015, and 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home.
A memorial has been established in his name.
