Linda L. Babb , age 68 of Freeport, IL, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport. She was born August 8, 1949; the daughter of the late Archie and Opal (Case) Bass. She attended Rock Falls High School. Linda married Jerrell Babb on June 29, 1973; he passed on September 3, 2017.

She had worked at Sundstrand/Danfoss for several years and that is where she met Jerrell. They were inseparable and did everything together. She loved garage sale shopping, attending family reunions, talking on the phone, and outings with her brother Ray and his wife Martha. Linda especially loved her special cat, Tabby.

She is survived by her brother, Murrell Bass of Sterling, IL; sister, Beverly (Paul) Schrader of St. George, MN; several nieces and nephews; and many loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerrell; brothers, George and Raymond; and sister, Maryetta Simmons.
