Linda B. Clark, 73, of Davis passed away Thursday, April 09, 2015 at her home. Born March 19, 1942 in Oregon, IL she was the daughter of Melvin and Harriette (Palmer) Friday. On July 25, 1964 she and Terry Clark were united in marriage. After graduating from Oregon High School she went to work as a Dental assistant to Dr. Brandlin in Rockford. She then worked for Fran Kral Lincoln-Mercury as a secretary. Linda was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Pecatonica and a member of the Rockford Model A club. She enjoyed crafting, sewing and quilting. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of Davis; son, Wade (Kim) Clark of Rockford; three grandchildren Zachary, Seth and Olivia Clark; brother Lawrence (Karen) Friday of Ozark, MO; sister Margene (Kenneth) Terrill of Rogersville, MO; brother and sister-in-law, Lyle and Phyllis Nelson of Rockford and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents and son Corbin. Visitation will be Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 12:30 until 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Pecatonica. Funeral service will be Sunday following the visitation at 2 p.m. with Reverend Terry Theiss officiating. Burial will be at the Davis Cemetery, Davis. A memorial fund has been established in her name for the St. John Lutheran Church in Pecatonica.
