Linda Jacobson-Dinley , age 75 of Freeport, IL passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at Ascension St. Joseph's Nursing Home in Freeport. She was born March 14, 1949 in Dekalb, IL; the daughter of the late Marion and Roberta (Reeh) Perkins.

Linda was a nurse at FHN Memorial Hospital and owned the Convenient Food Mart in Dekalb. She was an active member of First Free Methodist Church of Freeport. Linda loved her dogs and leaves behind her dear Daisy. She especially enjoyed being in the company of her family and friends. Linda was a devout Christian and shared that through giving to others. She was always there for anyone in need and would do anything she could to help.

Linda is survived by her children, Kimberly Lawson of Franklin Grove, IL, Daniel (Kimberly) Jacobson of Kapolei, HI, Dean Stoehr, and Janet Reeser; grandchildren, Amber Gilmore, Sinjin Lewis, Jenna Castle, Courtney Miller, DJ Jacobson, Kiersten McCord, Joshua Jacobson, John Jacobson, Kylie Jacobson, Jordan Jacobson, David Jacobson, and Marty Reeser; great grandchildren, Braylon Liebenstein, Gracelyn Miller, Gavin Miller, Sebastian Jacobson, Selene Jacobson, Graham Miller, Salem Jacobson, and Gentry Miller; dear friend, Kathy Folgate; and caregiver, Patricia Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daniel Jacobson; husband, Jerry Dinley; sons, Michael Scott and Roger Patrick; brother, Henry Gregory; and sister, Maureen Rudisill.
