Freeport: Lisa A. Koehler, 42 of Freeport died, Sunday October 11, 2009 at St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL. Born April 16, 1967 in Freeport she was the daughter of William and Belva (Haeft) Koehler. Lisa worked as an Emergency Room secretary for the FHN Memorial Hospital and also worked as a E.M.T. for Star Ambulance. She also volunteered for the Freeport Rural Fire Department for many years. She is survived by her Mother, Belva Koehler of Freeport. She was preceded in death by her Father and her grandparents. Funeral service and burial will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the Chapel of Peace in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Freeport. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the Chapel of Peace. A memorial has been established.
