Lois Jane Anderson , of Rockford, formerly of Freeport passed away at Wesley Willows Health Center in Rockford on October 27, 2021.  She was born on June 6, 1921 in Freeport to the late Henry and Hattie (Karsted) Calkins.

Lois married Earl "Andy" Anderson on September 16, 1943; whom passed away November 7, 2009.

Lois and Earl lived most of their life in Freeport until January of 2003, when they move to Rockford to be closer to their daughter.

Lois is survived by her children, Pamela (William) Borah of Belvidere; and Mary Lou (Richard) Rodman of Sarasota, FL; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and special caregiver of many years, Ana (Oksana).

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son Douglas Anderson.
