Lois Marie Gassman, 87, of Freeport, died Thursday, February 26, 2009, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born June 16, 1921 in Warren she was the daughter of George "Ray" and Clara (Ebert) Breed. She married Loyal P. Gassman Sr. August 11, 1984 in Lafayette County Shullsburg, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death September 23, 2002.
Surviving are her niece, Joan (Jerry) Munz of Shullsburg, Wisconsin; her nephew, Donny Breed of Freeport; several other nieces and nephews; her step children, Mary Cyrulik of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Paulette (Gerald) Owen of Colebrook, New Hampshire, Patricia (Scott) Moore of Freeport; Loyal P. (Paula) Gassman Jr. of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Eugene (Hedy) Gassman of Indiana, Richard (Judy) Gassman of Greensboro, North Carolina, David Gassman of Freeport.
She was preceded in death by her husband; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Walker Mortuary. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery & Mausoleum.
Visitation will be Saturday 12:30 p.m. until time of service at Walker Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her name.
