Loretta Mae Jones , age 84 of Rock City, IL, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Walnut Acres in Freeport. She was born November 4, 1936 in Jordan Center, WI; the daughter of the late Harry and Alice (Weiss) Kubly. She married Ralph Jones on February 6, 1954, which was also her parent's 25 ^th wedding anniversary.

She was a member of St. Paul Church of Epleyanna in Davis, IL. Loretta loved flowers and enjoyed gardening, canning and listening to music. Above all, her family was her joy. She lovingly raised her 7 children and was a proud grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Jones of Rock City, IL; her children, Vernon (Tari) Jones of New Glarus, WI, Diane (Tony) Nuzzo of Janesville, WI, Michael (Janet) Jones of Scottsdale, AZ, Thomas Jones of Roscoe, IL, Susan Jones of Freeport, IL, Lorene Jones of Las Vegas, NV, and Debra (Jim) Packard of Henderson, NV; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; brothers, Harold (Didi) Kubly of Freeport, IL and Dennis Kubly of Dakota, IL; and brother-in-law, Harold White of Freeport. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandsons, Michael Cobb and John Everett; brother, Nathan Kubly; and sister, Marian White.

Private services will be held at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Dakota, IL. Interment will take place at the Dakota Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established for St. Paul Church of Epleyanna. Condolences may be shared with her family at www.walkermortuary.com.
