Freeport-Lorine A. Love, 72, of Freeport, died Sunday, October 7, 2007, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born March 27, 1935 in Monroe, Wisconsin she was the daughter of Alfred E. and Ella (Steinman) Rod. She married Russell Love September 22, 1951 in Monroe, Wisconsin and he died February 17, 2006.
Surviving are four sons, Stephan (Barbara) Love of Canton, IL, Allen Love of Cedarville, Dennis (Lori) Love of Orangeville and David Love of Cedarville, 19 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; one brother, Merlin Rod of Bakers City, Oregon; one daughter in-law, Christina Love of Cedarville; one son in-law, Marty Meinders of Freeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two daughters, Mary Kay Love and Laura Meinders; two sons, Russell Jr. and Jeffrey Love; two granddaughters, Susan Love and Kristina Jacobs; two brothers, Alfred Rod and Dale Rod.
Funeral service will be Friday 10:30 a.m. at Walker Mortuary with Reverend John Hollis of the First Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery & Mausoleum.
Visitation will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
