Rock City – Lorna Jean Toelke Wilson born on 9-16-1948 died surrounded by family at Ascension St. Joseph Nursing Center on 4-23-2023. Lorna was a very heartfelt person and would help anyone in a heartbeat. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas. She loved the lights and the snow that time of year. Anyone close to her new she loved to craft and color. It was one of her main hobbies in life. She loved pandas, dogs and especially her beloved Afghan hound Dino. Her cats, her dog, Theo will miss her dearly. She also loved going to church groups.

She is survived by her bonus family, Amanda (Josh) Arand of Rock City; Jennifer Haas of Lanark; Heather (Steve) Wright of Mount Carroll; Honesty Niedermeier of Freeport; Tayler, Chevelle, Tristan Haas of Lanark; Phoenix Diehl of Lanark; Kaeson and Lorelei Turner of Freeport; Cristian Arand of Rock City; Amber Wright of Mount Carroll; Paige Haas of Pearl City and Karter Martin of Pearl City. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Florence (Kuhlmeier) Toelke, her brother, Dean Toelke; her beloved Dino and bonus family members Dawn Niedermeier and Trevor Haas.

There will be services on Saturday, May 13 ^th with a visitation beginning at 10am followed by a memorial service at 11am at Walker Mortuary in Freeport. A memorial has been established in her name. Condolences can be left for the family at www.walkermortuary.com .
