LOUISE PATRICIA CONTER (Pat) , 93, of Freeport died Friday, February 26, 2010 at Freeport Memorial Hospital. She was born to Paul and Harriet (Smith) Roth on March 17, 1916 in Philadelphia, Pa.. Since she was born on St. Patrick's Day, she was always called "Pat". Pat married the love of her life, James. F. Conter, on August 7, 1937. He preceded her in death on June 15, 2009, after 72 wonderful years of marriage. Pat was a retired secretary from the Montgomery Ward Corporate Offices in Chicago, Assistant Registrar, Admission Officer and Secretary to the College Board at Highland College.
