Lucille V. Baker, 89, of Freeport, died Saturday May 4, 2013 at Manor Court.
Born February 2, 1924 in Lena she was the daughter of George and Ida (Busjahn) Baker.
Lucille was retired from Micro Switch Company.
She was a lifetime member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Lena.
Lucille was very thankful for her nice neighbors and enjoyed baking cookies and pies for them.
An avid gardener she enjoyed reading, quilting, and working her jigsaw puzzles.
Surviving are her sisters, Irene Julius of Monroe, Wisconsin and Eldora Smith of Freeport; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; and three brother-in-laws.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 at Walker Mortuary with Reverend Miranda Hinrichs officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service on Friday at the Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Lena.
