Obituary
Freeport-Lucille M. Burma, 81, of Freeport, died Sunday June 26, 2005, at Stephenson Nursing Center.
Born March 22, 1924 in Forreston she was the daughter of Conrad and Luella (Zumdahl) Daniels.
Lucille was a bus driver for the Forreston schools, a secretary at Highland Community College, and in the floral business for several years.
She was the former organist at Bethany United Church of Christ, St. John United Church of Christ, and Faith United Methodist Church.
Surviving is her daughter, LuAnn (Kirk) Winter of Freeport; 1 brother, Melvin (Gertrude) Daniels of Forreston; 2 grandchildren, Adam and Andrea Winter both of Freeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be Thursday 11 a.m. at Walker Mortuary with Reverend Don Jamerson of First Free Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday 10 a.m. until time of service at Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established for the American Diabetes Association.
