Rock City (Lost Lake)
Lucy Zavolokoff, 88, of Lost Lake, died Thursday, November 26, 2015, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
She was born January 1, 1927 in Kiev, Ukraine. She married Peter Zavolokoff and he preceded her in death.
Lucy was a member of St. Vladimir Russian Orthodox Church in Lost Lake and a member of the Sisterhood church group.
Surviving are her children, George (Nancy) Zavolokoff of Cape Coral Florida, Nicolas (Mary) Zavolokoff of Chicago, Paul (Nadiya) Zavolokoff of Rock City, Sonia Zavolokoff of Palatine, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; 1 brother and 1 sister.
Visitation will be Friday, December 4, 2015, at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Dakota from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., followed by Panikhida (prayer service). Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015, at St. Vladimir Russian Orthodox Church in Lost Lake, burial following mass at Rock City Cemetery.
