Lena-Lynette Marie Roach, 31, of Lena, died Saturday, April 7, 2007, at Stephenson Nursing Center.
Lynette was admired for her beautiful friendly smile and her positive attitude through her difficult illness. Her faith in God gave peace to everyone that knew her.
Born December 10, 1975 in Freeport she was the daughter of Larry and Lorraine (Visger) Roach Sr.
She was a 1994 graduate of Le-Win High School in Lena.
Lynette worked at Angelo's and Coffee House in Lena.
She was a member of East Gate Christian Center in Freeport.
Lynette enjoyed bingo, her bunny collectables and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.
Surviving is her mother, Lorraine of Freeport; 3 sisters, Lorrie A. Andersen of Lanark, LeAnn F. (Duane) Kappes of Freeport, and LuAnn M. (Todd) Sellman of Lena; 1 brother, Larry L. (Jane) Roach Jr. of Pearl City; several nieces; nephews; aunts; and uncles.
Her father preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be Wednesday 10:30 a.m. at East Gate Christian Center with the Reverend Steve Barr officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Tuesday 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her name.
