Lynn M. Thomas, 47, of Freeport, died Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born April 26, 1962 in North Tarrytown, N.Y. she was the daughter of Donald and Lois (Sundvall) Thomas.
A graduate of Ward Melville H.S., Stony Brook, N.Y. she moved to Freeport, IL, with her family in 1981.
She was a member of the Pearl City Lioness club.
Lynn was a caring person with a big heart. She brought a smile to the faces of all who knew her. She was a loyal and devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who will be missed by all.
Survivors include her mother, Lois Thomas; siblings, Mark Thomas (Ingrid), Sue (John) O'Brien, Craig (Dawn) Thomas; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
Funeral service will be Saturday 10:30 a.m. at Walker Mortuary with Chaplain Don Swanson of FHM Memorial Hospital officiating.
Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
The family is very grateful for all of the heartfelt care and support Lynn received from the Department of Rehabilitation Services and Freeport RAMP.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for their benefit.
