M. Sue Boland, 78, of rural Lena passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015 at her home. Born November 22, 1936 in Eighty-Four, PA she was the daughter of Raymond and Leola (Hammett) Cox. For many years she worked for Micro Switch and retired in 1996. She enjoyed gardening. Surviving are four sons Raymond (Tish) Boland of Pearl City, William (Marjorie) Boland of Freeport, Charles (Brenda) Boland of Freeport, P. Matthew (Margaret) Boland of Compton, MD; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two sisters Dorothy Garrison of CA, Leola Gerloff of Freeport; one brother Paul R. Cox of CA. Preceding her in death were her parents, two sisters Lenora, Patricia and one brother William. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Walker Mortuary. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Walker Mortuary. Burial will be at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport.
