Mabel F. Gift, 84, of Freeport died Sunday, December 08, 2013 at Presence St. Joseph Home, Freeport.
Born November 17, 1929 she was the daughter of Kenneth and Florence (Gerdes) Webster.
She was a graduate of Orangeville High School and worked in the office at Newell.
On October 5, 1950 she and James Gift were united in marriage.
Mabel enjoyed bowling, and bowled on various leagues.
Surviving are her husband James of Freeport, five brothers Richard (Marlene) Webster of Davis, Carl (Shirley) Webster of Rockford, James (Susan) Webster of Asheboro, N.C., Clyde (Rita) Webster of Rockford, Charles (Judy) Webster of Freeport; three sisters Phyllis Vietmeier of Orangeville, Betty (Richard) Brubaker of German Valley, Wilma (Donald) Nath of Freeport; many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her parents, two brothers Harold and Edwin, one sister Norma.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday at the Chapel of Peace at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Freeport. Visitation will be 1:00 pm until the time of service at Chapel Hill.
A memorial has been established in her name.
