Marcus John Samuelson, 26, Specialist 4, stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas, died on November 30, 2011, in El Paso.
Born August 12, 1985 at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington D.C. he was the son of Ronald K. and Barbara A. (Chapman) Samuelson.
Marcus has been a soldier with the U.S. Army for the past 6 years, his past military assignments were in Afghanistan and South Korea.
He liked cooking and loved spaghetti. He enjoyed body building, weight lifting, and driving his truck.
He was an avid Buffalo Bills Football fan.
Marcus will always be remembered for his fantastic sense of humor.
Surviving are his parents of Freeport; his maternal grandmother, Grace Chapman of Freeport; his brothers, Kevin Samuelson of San Antonio, Texas and Matthew F. Samuelson of Savannah, Georgia; his sister, Gracie A. Samuelson of Freeport.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather; and his paternal grandparents.
