Margaret R. Aeling, 71, of Freeport, died Sunday, August 23, 2009, at Provena St. Joseph Nursing Center.
Born March 3, 1938 in Salem she was the daughter of Chester and Helen (Tabor) Organ. She married Roger Aeling Sr. December 1961 and he preceded her in death.
She worked at Thermos Manufacturing for 33 years.
Margaret was a member of the Ladies of the Eagles and Ladies of the Moose.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Rhonda Keeney of Freeport, Debra Smith and Lois Niemeier both of Pennsylvania; 1 son, Roger Aeling of Freeport; several brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughter, Pamela Keeney.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
A memorial has been established for Provena St. Joseph Nursing Center.
