Margaret Decknadel, 88, formerly of Freeport died Tuesday, February 14, 2006 in Tucson, Arizona. She was born December 11, 1917 in St. John's Newfoundland, Canada to Alexander and Mary Furlong. She came to the United States in 1946 and became a naturalized citizen in 1950. She married Harold Decknadel September 15, 1949. He died on February 15, 2006. Margaret farmed with her husband in the German Valley area from 1949 to 1956 prior to moving to Arizona. She is survived by her daughter Mary (Thomas) White of Valley Lee, MD; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; her nephew Thomas (Jackie) Furlong of St. John's, Newfoundland, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday March 18, 2006 at the German Valley Silver Creek Reformed Church Cemetery, with the Rev.
