Freeport: Margaret A. DiMarco, 78, died Thursday, September 7, 2006 at her home. Born July 5, 1928 in Freeport, she was the daughter of Gaetano and Josephine (Giuffre) D'Inverno. On June 21, 1953 she married Ray DiMarco.
Margaret was a graduate of Aquin High School.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the National Catholic Society of Forresters.
Surviving are her husband, Ray of Freeport; two daughters, Marian DiMarco of Schaumburg, IL and Anne (Jeff) Schwede of Medinah, IL; four sons, Stephen (Cheryl) DiMarco of Lena, Blaise DiMarco of McConnell, Guy (Kathi) DiMarco of San Antonio, TX and Matthew (Deborah) DiMarco of Lucas, TX; three Sisters, Mary (Peter) Scibona of Freeport, Nancy D'Inverno of Dixon and Bette (Larry) Hawes of Amboy; five granddaughters and five grandsons; one great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her Parents and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Monday 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Reverend Burt Absalon officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary with a prayer service at 7 p.m. A memorial has been established for the American Heart Association.
