Margaret I. Eder, 88, of Freeport died Thursday September 9, 2010 at FHN Memorial Hospital. Born October 18, 1921 in Rock Grove she was the daughter of Albert and Elta (Bennehoff) Hemphill. She and Don Eder were married November 12, 1942 at Kahokia, MO., he preceded her in death in 2006. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church and the Eagles Auxillary. Surviving are one son Mike (Colleen) Eder of Warren; two daughters Suzie Lopez of Pomona, CA, Myrna (Kenneth) Williams of Lena; 7grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; brother Beryl (Beverly) Hemphill of Rockford; four sisters Lois Stratton of Lorton, VA, Shirla Kelly of Monroe, WI, Ann Kuster of Genoa, WI, Marie DeRemer of Monroe, WI. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, 2 sisters Roselyn, Evelyn, 2 brothers Stanley and Laurence.
