Freeport-Margaret "Maggie" E. Hayenga, 84, of Freeport, died Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at FHN Memorial Hospital of natural causes.
Born March 16, 1922 in Freeport she was the daughter of Frank and Clara (Wahler) Kubatzke. She married Clyde Wickler and he preceded her in death. She married Wilbur Hayenga February 14, 1953 in Pearl City and he preceded her in death.
She worked at Kraft Cheese, Burgess Battery, Micro Switch, and then Dr. Brandt's office until her retirement in 1987.
She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church.
Surviving are her sons, Terry Wickler of Belvidere, Kevin (Vicki) Hayenga of Willoughby, Ohio, and Kelly (Deb) Hayenga of Freeport; 4 grandchildren, Rachel (Mike) Toth, Robert (Jaime) Wickler, David and Kristina Hayenga; 1 step grandchild, Jeff Sheets; 3 great grandchildren, Stacy and Paul Toth, and DJ Wickler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; 3 brothers; 1 step grandchild; and her daughter in-law, Linda Wickler.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial service and interment of her cremated remains will be Monday 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with Reverend Mary Ann Hill of Grace Episcopal Church officiating.
