Obituary
Ridott-Marguerite L. Kohl, 85, of Pecatonica, died Monday, December 29, 2003 at the Medina Nursing Center in Durand.
Born July 09, 1918 in Gilmore City, Iowa she was the daughter of Elmer and Luella (Davis) Saxby. She married Elmer Kohl April 21, 1954 and he died in September 2001.
She worked for Fairbanks Morse and Barber Coleman.
Surviving are three daughters, Shirley (James) Dunn and Barbara K. (William "Neeley") Harris both of Pecatonica, and Darlene (Lyle) Wilhelms of Rockford; one step-daughter, Karlyn (Ed) Stubbe of Pearl City; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 4 sisters; 5 brothers.
Funeral service will be Friday 11 a.m. at Walker Mortuary, 321 W. Main in Freeport with Reverend Carlton Easley of Ridott Community Church officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
